Initiative: Ready Airman

Air National Guard Airmen are Citizen-Airmen — they are both civilians and Airmen, with a foot in each community. On the military side, they have a unique dual mission that includes both federal wartime taskings, as well as state-based domestic operations and disaster relief. Balancing these responsibilities can challenge the resilience of Airmen and their families, so Ready Airman was created to foster resilience, reduce risk and increase readiness within the Air Guard community, which includes Guard Airmen and their families, as well as the resilience practitioners who support them in all 50 states, three territories and the District of Columbia.
